Kitting assembly process – Kitting is a value-added logistics service that involves the assembly and packaging of various components, parts, or products into a single unit or “kit.” In this case, the retailer needed a display model, and the display setup packaged in a specialized box with customer specific labeling on all four sides that would be brought back into their inventory with a unique SKU.
