Our Culture Philosophy

Sunland’s company culture is rooted in continuous improvement, safety, and respect for all people. We have a solidified team mentality and provide a learning environment designed to engage and empower our associates to expose and solve problems. One of the reasons that Sunland is truly a special place to work is that all members of our executive team naturally have a strong servant leader mentality which permeates throughout the entire company. “How can I help?” is a question you hear often at Sunland.

Our “go see” philosophy is based on lean principles that emphasize going to where the work is being done in order to gain a true understanding of the situation. When problems arise, we do not waste energy on blame. Instead, we focus on fixing the process.

We consider our strong culture to be a competitive advantage. Sunland has been successful in attracting valuable talent in an industry experiencing a serious talent shortage. Our team, while spread across our region and growing, handles customer goods and products with uniform care. A solid company culture is essential to Sunland’s Vision: To be a great 3PL company where opportunity exists, people want to work and customers want to buy.

The ICARE Program is an incentive-based program designed to encourage and reward performance excellence in our associates. The quality of our processes and the strength of our company are dependent on our ability to develop the talent and leadership skills of our associates and to provide members of our team with a positive work environment.

Key initiatives of the ICARE Program are the following:

  • Reward and recognize excellent performance
  • Training and safety
  • Leadership skills development

Sunland believes that a more diverse company is a stronger company. Beyond visible differences, having well qualified associates and managers with different backgrounds, perspectives, and talents working on the same team is critical. In addition to including members of our team with varying ethnicities and genders, we are also proud to employ military veterans.

Sunland Logistics Solutions is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Career Management

Sunland’s Individual Career Development Program (ICDP) is a tool to assist associates in their career and personal development. We are dedicated to assisting our associates to reach their short and long-term career goals, as well as improve their current job performance.

Work with a company that wants to see you succeed.
