Sunland Logistics Solutions is excited to announce Stephen Sargunaraj has recently joined the growing third-party logistics company’s Leadership Team as VP of Sunland Management System & Implementations.
Stephen will lead the design and implementation of The Sunland Management System or “SMS.” SMS utilizes concepts from other world class management systems like LEAN & ISO. It will provide the framework of all our business processes to include implementation with zero failures. SMS is comprised of 5 components: High-Performance Teams, Process Leadership, Advance Technology and Innovation, Quantified Value to Customers, and Financial Performance. Stephen will build on the excellent work already completed and continue the journey to a world class third-party logistics quality management system.
When asked why he decided to join the Sunland Team, Stephen replies, “Sunland provided me with an opportunity to join a growing 3PL with a strong culture & values. The experienced leadership team is laser focused on growing the company through people and applying the right technology.”
Stephen joins Sunland with over 30 years of experience in supply chain management, industrial engineering, business development, and quality management systems for global third-party logistics providers & OEMs. Stephen earned degrees in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada and is an ASQ certified quality manager. He has leveraged his six-sigma master black belt and LEAN warehousing experience to drive quantified value for customers across multiple industries including automotive, retail, and consumer electronics.
